FM vacuums. Hard.
One thing I hate about going back and listening to the music I loved 20 years ago is that it sounds different now because stupid FM radio played so damned fast back then (and now) so they could squeeze in another freakin lame commercial afterwards!

Twitter!
SO I've been updating via Twitter for awhile now and finally got around to adding the monitor over here. On the left you should see the feed and a link to where you can sign up and follow the nonsense over there. You can even get updates sent to your phone, this is how I follow people and it makes for fun times in this age of web 2.0.
Good times ahead!
Also, random snapshots and picture nonsense are also going up at twitpic.com. The twitpic.com and twitter feeds are linked so you can get to that through the links on the left in the feed as well.
Don't worry, this is still my main spot for generating content (such as reviews and posting about our adventures) but twitter is cool for quick spots and following others, especially over the phone messeging options.
So spring is soon and I'm developing a serious case of wanderlust, so hopefully the warm weather will bring better oppotunities for getting out, doing some camping, and seeing what strange and beautiful things can be found through a viewfinder.
Stay tuned!

First plans for the spring
Be sure and click on "View Larger Map" above for a better route plan and cool things to see in the area.
So I've got this long weekend coming up in March (13th-16th) and thought about taking the camper up to Montgomery Bell State Park. It looks to have a nice (by state park standards) campground and not to far away. One of those days I would like to wander down the road a bit to the Harpeth River State Park (no campground there) and take a nature hike over to the "Narrows of the Harpeth" with the camera and see what I can find through the view finder.
Maybe I can get some pictures like these found over on flickr

Zeitgiest?
You know as a sign of the times when you go to the mall and see everyone standing around looking at small electronic devices. They do this even to the point of ignoring their friends and family that are right there with them! Oh wait - guess I'm doing it right now.

Went to Knoxville -
Check the pictures!
Made it over to Knoxville this past weekend to watch the Vols play some football. Took the camper and stayed the Saturday night at the east campground in Norris Dam Tennessee State Park. Bit cool that night, good times had by all though.
